About Cypress Transport

Cypress Transport was founded on the 1st of September, 2000.
From Cypress Transport Director, Dorothy Jenkin: "Cypress Transport came into being when I offered my services to Green Africa Shipping to do their land-side logistics for them, after they had decided to start their own cartage division.

"With the knowledge of the industry that I had gained throughout my years working in the different departments, starting as an accountant and working through operations and cartage, I was confident that I would be able to make a success of my business.
"Cypress Transport has grown from one single shipping client and one branch to a variety of clients with network branches extending to Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town."

The services we provide are:

• the inland movement of freight containers via rail and road,
• warehousing and distribution facilities.

The company operates a large fleet of  trucks - 100 in Johannesburg, 35 in Durban, and 15 trucks each in Cape Town and Pretoria. We also own 170 trailers (6 and 12 metre trailers) and four national rail accounts.

Cypress Transport is a growing company which has proven it’s ability to successfully handle client requirements and give excellent service over and over again. We are determined to build our reputation as a major player in the transport and warehousing industry.
